Cheryl has worked in the IFA sector for over 30 years and has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience during her time in the Industry. Cheryl is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and the CISI Investment Advice Diploma, both specialist qualifications in the management of investment funds. Cheryl is a long standing member of Collaborative Divorce PODs and provides independent advice to couples working towards an equitable financial settlement. She also offers advice to help clients understand the implications of Pension Sharing and help with the implementation of Pension Sharing Orders.
Cheryl is an active supporter of Resolution – a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way. She is a member of the National Resolution Publications Board and writes expert content on the technical and practical issues surrounding financial planning on Divorce for distribution to Resolution members, both Family Lawyers and IFAs involved in this area.
Cheryl is also happy to take the time to be involved with regional activities and is the Treasurer for Herts Resolution and the secretary for her local Collaborative Divorce POD.
Cheryl was a participant in the focus groups held by the Pensions Advisory Group, the feedback from which assisted in the publication of the Pension Advisory Group essential Guide to the Treatment of Pensions on Divorce, which brings guidance to family judges, lawyers and pension experts.
